THE TWILIGHT LANGUAGE OF NIGEL KNEALE, which accompanied A CATHODE RAY SÉANCE: THE HAUNTED WORLDS OF NIGEL KNEALE back in November is now available via SEEN. Published by Texte und Töne in collaboration with the Colloquium for Unpopular Culture, and edited by S.S. Sandhu, initial copies of the monograph come with RESTLIGEISTS, a cassette of specially composed music investigating aspects of the Knealescape. Both the book and cassette are limited editions (the cassette even more so), and are likely to disappear very quickly!
Limited edition audio cassettes of Example One are now available here for the sum of $8.99. Hand duplicated/artworked and transferred to type I ferric tape at 4.8cm per second. Typewriter: Underwood 315
In light of recent events, we’re extremely happy and thankful to be able to celebrate the release of Example One in tandem with the closing of the marvelous Hrafnhildur Arnardóttir a.k.a. SHOPLIFTER Nervescape installation at the Clocktower Gallery in Manhattan this Thursday at 6pm. There will be live performances from Listening Center and Hess Is More and the audio materials duplication department is hard at work ensuring that there will be Example One cassettes available.
More details here, and be sure to rsvp….
